As a psychotherapist who is also a parent, I have an interest in helping my clients learn to work together effectively for the sake of their children.  Coparenting Counseling is appropriate for couples still in relationship who are disagreeing over their children's upbringing, parents who are divorced or separated and understand the importance of putting their children first and learning to work together regardless of their feelings about their relationship, and anyone who is struggling with relating to and raising their children.

In addition to my work as an individual psychotherapist, I have had training and experience in couples counseling, including working with high conflict couples.  I am also a trained mediator, having trained with the Northern California Mediation Center in Marin, work with the courts as a Court Appointed Custody Evaluator, and am familiar with accepted standards for parenting and custody arrangements.

In the ten years I have been licensed, I have worked effectively with a wide variety of individuals and couples from many backgrounds and with many diverse issues.  I bring this diverse experience to my work, with the goal of developing my sessions with each family in the direction that will be most helpful to them.
